Dominic Posted June 6, 2020 6/5/20 - Restricted overflow access to capped channels to IA+ - Fixed Veterans being able to join voice channels under "General Chat" - Fixed being able to see voice channels for other games without the role - Added new server invite background and banner (thank you @nesquik) - Created #server-list and moved list of servers there - Edited #rules-and-info to include links to all of our socials - Added private voice channels. (thank you @Benzene, @Mikey, @Bacon) People allowed to create them are Subs, VIPs and Nitro Boosters. To create one, just join the "Join To Create" channel under the category and you'll instantly have one. The commands for the bot should be used in #pc-commands and are as follows: .voice lock - locks your channel .voice unlock - unlocks your channel .voice name (name) - rename your channel .voice limit (number) - limits how many people can join .voice permit (@user) - permits a user to join your channel .voice reject (@user) - kicks the person from your channel and blocks them from joining .voice claim - lets you claim ownership of the channel if the owner leaves More to come. 20 Share this post Link to post

Category Changes Deleted #voice-chat channel Deleted the Music 2 voice chat This channel, and #voice-chat were rarely used and clogging up the discord, so this change along with a few others were intended to cut out channels no one uses. Moved the Music 1 voice chat to [General] and changed its name to Music Added a stage channel as our Community Meeting Channel under [General] Removed our old Meeting Channel voice chat along with this change Moved #bots to [General] Moved [Private Channels] above [Other] and [Games] This change was primarily made to promote people getting in voice channels and talking with each other more, and looks better for any visiting members who are eager to play some games and socialize Leave any feedback for any of the made changes in the Discord Subforum or in the #suggestions chat! 7 Share this post Link to post

TheZZL Posted May 29, 2021 (edited) May 29th 2021 Permissions Updated permissions, so if you haven't yet completed the authentication you receive when you first join the server you'll now see all channels but you won't be able to chat in them Along with this, a new Category and Text Chat called [Getting Started] and #start-here have been created in order to help out some of the newer people with this authentication process So.... make sure you're all verified with the @Player role, and if you're having trouble finding the Direct Message containing the authentication go ahead and re-join the server. TheZZL Posted June 16, 2021 (edited) June 15th 2021 Permissions Fixed more miscellaneous permissions I've made it so going through Forums verification (Linking your Forums account) will also be adequate in gaining access to all areas of the Discord Moderator Updates The ban protocol has been edited, and will remain a WIP. The updated and fully refreshed protocol will be posted soon for all to see and critique New access has been given to moderators to utilize the ?ban and ?kick commands for their superiority over Discords regular Banning and Kicking methods. New Channel A #discords channel has been added to all SG affiliated Discords. From there, you can see all the multi-game Discords SG offers. Rules Server Rules have also been updated to include new points regarding Discord ToS, Harassment, Homophobia, Bigotry, and more. To learn more check out the #rules chat and give them a re-read.
