Zombie Escape is without any doubt the most popular custom gamemode being played on CSGO. The biggest communities have come together to organize and sponsor a mapping contest! Rules Make sure to read them through carefully before deciding to enter the contest. If you have any questions regarding them, simply comment the #questions channel in the below Discord server and we can clarify any issues. - Maps have to be published before Monday, December, 7th, 12AM CEST - Maps must be under 150MB to be be used on fastdownload - Maps must be compiled in HDR to prevent client crashes - Maps must be submitted on Gamebanana so every server can have access to it - Entries must include the banner somewhere in the map where it is clearly visible to everybody (it might get updated if new sponsors join!): https://i.imgur.com/vvlbYV9.png - It must state that it was created for the CSGO ZE MAPPING CONTEST on gamebanana, so we are sure they are entrant - Entries must support up to 64 players in the map to fit all servers - Submitted content must be considered "Original", entries should not be rethemes, version 2's or copies of other ZE maps. - The submission can use pre-existing assets such as existing models, textures, or any ZE prefab, but enough work should be done to consider the submission a 'new release' made for this competition. Simply re-uploading a previous piece of work will not count. - Multiple entries are allowed, however quality is better than quantity. - Each entrant may only win a maximum of one (1) prize. - Team-based entries are allowed, but the entrants will have to decide and agree on how to split any prizes awarded. - Entries can be modified after the deadline if it's to fix big issues (ex: server crash), but a penalty will be added to the final score. - Judges cannot enter or assist entrants. Prizes 1st place: $300 2nd place: $175 3rd place: $100 4th place: $50 5th place: $25 Judging Maps are judged against four criteria: Quality of the design (is the map beautiful and well designed?) Gameplay (is the map boring?) Replayability (would you play this map every day or tryhard it every week?) Originality (is it an overused theme?) 2 judges will come from each community involved!
