The Alters and Cheaters

I have stumbled across a majority of cheaters and alters these past few days and some of them manage to keep coming back without any hesitation despite being banned for the millionth time, some don't even get banned at all even after the reports are made. 

One prime example is this dude right here:

He has been cheating and alting for the past week and he's suspected to be DALERJON or maybe even his brother, I even had an admin say that he somehow has the same IP as the guy which is why IP bans should be implemented more seriously. It doesn't matter who he is, he's ruining the experience of those that are trying to enjoy the game. He even admitted to it and has been caught numerous times and called out by me and multiple other admins who confronted him, yet he lacked the ability to care and just went on to shoot people through walls and obviously aim lock, he even wall bang headshotted me through armory door, and he's still not banned which really surprises me. I am making this post because this guy is genuinely the most pathetic person I've stumbled across through-out my whole few months of playing on this server, and the worst part is he cries about wanting admin and how he's going to get admin one day which I heavily doubt considering he's literally an alter and a cheater.

This is just my personal take, but I hope some sort of action is done in order to prevent this from ever happening again in the near future.

I do agree with this along with the fact that Dalerjon was also just banned for 3 months for posting pornography in discord, mfking and being racist on an alt, and evading ANOTHER ban. I feel at this rate you should for sure be permed but this is just my opinion. I do agree with the fact maybe we should add something to servers like a different anti-cheat or something to prevent alting on different accounts. Honestly I have to idea how it would work since im not a ta or anything but if there is an anti cheat we could add to stop multiple alters like Dalerjon apparently Wiz, and a couple other continuous alters. Recently brought up by the man himself wiz in a thread to improve the anti cheat, I do agree but not in the concept he was talking about. We definitely need an anti cheat to prevent alters from constantly coming back.

Here is another example as you said of the anti-cheat. I legit saw this man on JB constantly mfking and using very easily detectable aimbot yet not getting banned by whatever anti-cheat SG uses. Multiple things like this constantly occur and I do agree the anti-cheat for sure needs to be improved (if possible.)

 

Another thing that I'd like to say is that things like this are constantly happening and if there is a way to fix the anti-cheat I think it should be one of SG's top priorities.

Players are literally banned from the servers then proceed to instantly join the servers again somehow. I do not know 100% if this has something to do with the current anti-cheat but if it does we should definitely update it as i've said before.

 

As I said a bit above players are so easily able to get away with hacking if someone doesn't make a complaint, for instance in this clip a player is using very obvious aimbot and somehow is not getting banned? He continues to use this for 30 more minutes after this clip was taken without an admin getting on or being banned by anti-cheat. I vividly remember Pog or another admin joining a while later after he started using these cheats because he wasn't already banned by anti-cheat.

Yes, but I'm guessing they have some sort of chat visibility feature that allows them to see the chat despite not being able to do so without third-party software/cheats, which could lead to them disabling their hacks and other exploits in order to avoid appearing suspicious in front of the admins, which brings us to another topic: spectator list cheats. They can readily detect when someone is monitoring them, which typically results in them disabling their hacks.

All bans are IP bans, they're using VPNs.

A VPN blocker would work, however it might affect some players who aren't alting who use VPNs.

Due to VPNs and a fresh steam account, not an anti-cheat thing. 

 

I assure you that there are a lot of staff members working hard to get rid of the alters. My suggestion, as I previously stated, would be for us to turn on a VPN blocker.

Usually as u said they only do this for admins so if there isn't any admins on this is what you can do. Download a type of recording device like medal, shadowplay, streamable, overwolf, honestly any recording platform and just fill out a player complaint here.

Hey it's me, we are currently working on something to prevent people like wiz and Dalerjon who create alt accounts with the sole purpose of cheating or trolling from joining the server. We have a general idea of what we are looking for when it comes to blocking alternate accounts. I'll tell you that it isn't a VPN blocker, nothing more. It is being looked into and dealt with at the higher level. Most if not all alt accounts are played by people evading their bans, so they will be punished. DALERJON's ban was sort of unique compared to others. We treated him alting twice the first two times along with his week mute in Discord as 3 Bans and banned him according to the ban protocol. It is now increased to 6 months since he has managed to rack up 5+ bans.

 

We know that a good handful of people at our community commonly use VPNs, so we are going for solutions outside of VPN blockers. I'll leave this thread open for more questions I may not have answered, but other than that this should be pretty wrapped up. I'm not going to go into to much detail about it just yet.

if this is out there, @DALERJONisnt using it, as today he was banned whilst me and @Astral(the guy who caught him today) were discussing him in chat.

 

sometimes there is little that can be done without sacrificing a portion of our community to do so, something which is typically out of the question.

 

use call admin or post a message in discord if you feel an alter is on the server trolling or hacking.  or one step better, as @Chesaid, make player complaints!! It not only gives repeated evidence and can help to show trends in player behavior, but it also looks good on your record in the long run.

Eventually those two kids are gonna be out of mommy's money to use for alt accounts, so as long as our servers are prime accounts only I'm guessing this is gonna be an issue of the past fairly soon.

 

More importantly, this is why playing CT side jailbreak is damaging the mental health of our society's youth, as you can clearly see it has given dalerjon and his brother permanent brain dysfunction and this is a golden opportunity to plug my extremist nazi right wing opinion of putting an age requirement and a major playtime requirement increase on CT side.
