Just saw a app today that would let you remote into any desktop PC or MAC that you have access to from your iPhone, but that APP was 24.99

 

If you think using the 3G sucks. Try using the 3G phone unlocked on tmobile where it forces you to use Edge:( I even pay for 3G

Btw doesn't the 3GS have even worse battery duration????? If you have brightness up and you're using an application with internet the battery runs out like burgers infront of TCP
