Worst health care system in the world?

Alright, finish reading before you say anything please. I don't really like Canada's health care. I know it's free but there is a lot of strings attached.

First is that yes it's free, but we spend the most money on it, and pay a lot of tax to make up for it. If I bought something, I pay 13% in taxes for it.

Second, when it's free, it gets too crowded and slow. I went in to see the doctor at 9 a.m. and got home at 2:30 p.m. You wait a for a ridiculous amount of hours.

Third, is that you can't find doctors at night. I needed a doctor at like 8:30 p.m., went to like 4 or 5 clinics and they were closed. It's like the doctor's turn into wolves and run off into the woods.

Anyway, I was wondering which country has the worst health care in the world. I mean Canada's isn't the worst, but i want to know which country has it worse.

PFFT 13%???

20% of EVERYTHING bought in denmark will go as taxes..

More than 42% of my salary each month, I never get to see!!

We do, though, have an allright medical system.. But as you state, it does build up a huge line..

I am not so sick that I need medical attention that often, so I would rather save $500 a month than being able to go to the hospital for free..

Dont come to America, our healthcare is about to go out the window to shit quality with what Canada has but for alot more people. Wait like a year or 2 and I bet you we will be on the bottom of the list when it comes to healthcare. lol

I see Chobbers point, but at the same time I never really worry about getting hurt, because I know it won't cost me anything (I know it does, but you know...) So some personal security for more taxes..

But overall, yeah I think I would rather have less taxes and no healthcare since ultimately I'm paying for unhealthy people to be treated all the time, when I myself never need to go.

You QQ about Canada's healthcare? Come to America to see how a true 3rd-world-wannabe country lives.

They don't payout for suicides, hardly 3rd world wannabes though :/

First I am going to say that you would much wait longer in the hospital and if it isn't an emergency, you wait A LOT LONGER! like most of the day you would be sitting in that chair.

Second, WHAT 20% tax and 42% deduction now i know expensive but your system is probably much better. How do you live on 48% of your paycheque???

Bob loblaw, i have to agree with you a bit. Maybe they should have a pay per use system.

Last thing though, well you guys are right, Canada health care isn't so bad, even if I got injured in America with no insurance, I heard they will still pay for some of the costs.
