Let's implying that there are two conflicting orders given. One given by someone using their mic, one by someone typing.

Who do you follow?

The first order given, unless the CT's get their shit together and agree on one order. That's how I do it anyways and the only truly fair way without being lazy or showing favoritism.

I've always listened to the voice commands, even if they were given after the text commands. It's a pain to scroll back up when one person gets butthurt because you didn't see their order. If there's someone with a mic on CT, there shouldn't be a need to type orders.

Ok, so like, if I vocalize to not stand up, and someone after me texts "do not crouch", I can kill people who aren't crouching, it would be legal?

You should talk amongst the CT's to figure out what the order is. You cannot give out conflicting orders, so you cannot kill any T's who disobey one of the two orders until the CT's decide on what order should be followed.

You can listen to the lazy admin rule if certain admins who enforce it are in there as it isn't a definite rule written down, but you should always try to coordinate with the CT's instead of going along with or causing confusion just to get a kill.

You could also wind up with multiple admins with different interpretations of the rule, some of which you have already seen here, so it is really up to the decision of the admin or admins inside the server at the time until an official rule is written down.

I'm not sure, I doubt an instance like that will happen. Just hope that you have understanding teammates that will go along with you. That might be too much to ask for in PB though. Normally once the prisoners have gone to the location ordered, I won't do much with them. Just in pool and at the top of big cage for gun checks, then they're free to move around.

listen to the voices ... the little voices in ur head always are right.

on a serious note, Basicly the unwritten rule is that u follow the first commands given.

no difference between type or chat.

Overall most people don't pay much attention to what's typed while playing pb, so chances are most people won't even notice the typed parts anyway (unless they're being spammed).

If it happens to be that there are contradicting orders, u have to get things straight as soon as possible. and make sure everyting is clear. (the mic has a benefit on this part). after that u can clear things out.

In your situation, make sure things are stated clearly. if there is any type of confusion tell them straight what to do first (keep it short & fast). so u keep control & then clear out with the other guy what will happen next.

Personally i prefer that 1 person is telling the group what to do. this way everything stays clear. and accidentaly 'rebels' will be prevented.

Take instructions in order of when they are issued, unless the order is "unlawful" (i.e. go jump off that high ledge and die), which should be disregarded. Proceed to follow the next sane order.

Doesnt matter if it's type or voice. but usually that person continues to give orders, and unless they are a ridiculously fast typer, they're gonna get knifed sooner or later, mid-type.

Voice. I barely listen to text commands unless nobody is talking. It's just stupid because most people have commands binded and there won't be any loopholes in their orders, while voice you can forget to say something and take advantage.
