On the server, it is hard to take sites (if going on against a minimally half decent team) without much utility on CT. There's only so much you can do really to take the site against even a little bit of utility. Take Dust 2, for example. I mean, this is one of the harder maps for a CT player, but say it's a full 5v5 and you're on A site. 2 smokes, one for CT, one for Cat, one player will be watching doors which is fairly easy and you hold. CTs are always at a disadvantage. To keep it short, CTs shouldn't lose points for losing a round. There's no reason that CTs and Ts lose the same amount of points for losing a round when Ts are always going to be at an advantage. The only possible time that the two teams are equally balanced is if there is an odd amount of people on. Even in that circumstance, the Ts still have an advantage. In my eyes, CTs shouldn't lose anything, and Ts should really lose 4 points even. They have no reason to lose. If you play your cards right, the Ts can win the 4 rounds with ease and then the teams shuffle. 5 Edited February 23, 2020 by duffy Link to comment

I think both teams should absolutely lose points for losing the round. With CTs not losing points I see people not having the incentive to try to retake the site. I also think a lot more saving would occur and people would just wait till team shuffle and hope they get on T. 6 Link to comment

It would fall under this No purposely trolling or throwing(i.e. running away from the bombsite repeatedly). But I do not believe it is necessarily a good idea to remove the point loss CTs get. I wouldn’t mind seeing a change in how many points are lost from winning, losing, or dying. The point system is fine as it currently benefits those who are grinding the server and playing well. With the way we have it already set up, it's definitely one of the more thought of and discussed point systems within the Retakes community. A lot of servers I've had experience with don't nearly put as much focus in on making sure all the point gains & losses are fair and mostly focus on their guns plugin. Overall though, as long as people are still able to gain points, so long as their personal ability is there, and aren't just being choked at a certain point for no reason, then the points system is fine as it is.
