New TTT Meta

It's come to my attention in the past week or two whenever I am on that there is a new meta going around TTT causing a bunch of !calladmins and rdm reports because of this new meta, it not only makes my job as an admin hard at times but extremely frustrating because when I go to report to a !calladmin report I join the server to everyone t-baiting each other causing mass rdming chains because someone killed someone else, so I never truly know if a player is legitimately rdming other players purposely or it's the abuse of the t baiting rule to cause chaos on the server and ruin the experience for other players.

I believe if a player is constantly t-baiting and causing mass rdm chains(6-7players) every round causing players karma to drop and decrease the population of the server as an admin I should be able to "sit out" the player for an hour to try and calm down the server again.

This literally has nothing to do with t-baiting.

 

One innocent kills another, so a third person decides that the killer must be a T, and so on. This is generally a 'gag' of sorts that friends do, knowing full well that the people involved are likely not Ts, or every once in a while you'll get a new player that can't figure out how someone killing an inno doesn't ALWAYS mean they're a T. If anything, this is just letting people know that sometimes it's better to slow down and assess situations rather than going hung ho all the time.

 

I can say that this isn't anything new, but people might be doing it more often. Feel free to observe, but if you don't see any rules being broken, it's on these retards to waste their rounds and karma doing the same dumb shit every round.

hypno has been doing this shit ever since he was even present.

this was the norm when i started playing which was literally a year ago, still was a meta when i left, and still is a meta when i came back recently.

This isn’t a meta too get innocents and detectives to freekill/RDM eachother so the traitors can win. It’s general confusion. Player Jack yesterday called KOS on me and that started a chain of killings until luckily a Detective and Innocent found my body and proved I was an innocent. Ask another admin for help monitoring the server if you want/need it. If they really cared they would make a player complaint an admin can ask someone on the server what honestly happened also they should trust them. TBaiting is dumb especially if you want to live. If another player does it and wants to whine just let them. There’s traitors that do it for fun to try and mix it up and get the Innocents and Detectives to believe it wasn’t an RDM or a potential kill but other than that this “meta” shouldn’t be a problem. If people are complaining about a chain of killings just record it or have an admin check logs there shouldn’t be an issue.

There's no proper way to address this at the moment without implementing rules that will drastically change how our server is played. If each player killed was within reason then you should not be punishing them. Also it is not the player who t-baited's fault, when killing someone who t-baited it is their CHOICE to do so. No one is obligated to kill a t-baiter. We would like to put out a reminder to everyone to take a step back to evaluate the situation and what could have occurred before pulling the trigger.
