Only reason I'm buying a PS3 is for rockband. Guitar hero with a mic and drums. I'm worried about the price but I'm still saving up. $400 now and the Quiznos job doesnt help much... But still anyone else excited about this game?

lol I've read that before... But the thing is I can say I can actually play REAL guitar. I'm the guitarist for my band... We suck, but we try.

Don't get it for PS3.... get it on the 360.

 

$400 should be enough to get a 360, if you don't already have one, along with Rock Band.

 

I spent about 5 hours Friday and 8 hours yesterday playing it at a friend's house and I have to say, this is really addicting.

I don't want to buy the best available console with the widest library of games and genres because I don't like one of their company's other, unrelated products and/or it's trendy to hate popular things.

Not really, considering MGS4 isn't PS3 exclusive. 360 is getting it as well.
