Aside from Dio, they are protesting such things as Memorial Day. The church accuses Dio of hating God... Members of the Westboro Baptist Church plan to picket the public memorial service of the late Ronnie James Dio on May 30 to protest his supposed links with the devil. The church accuses Dio of worshipping the devil, encouraging violence and hating God. The church's website, Godhatesfags.com, asks members and supporters to attend the service "to remind you who worship that old serpent, Satan, that your time is very short.
