People still ask any questions there. But for Jon, everything should go in OTF.

Use photoshop (costs a HELL OF A LOT so you have to torrent it), or download gimp (which is free, but a little less user friendly). Then just learn how they work. Add text, and renders, and use techniques to change the appearance.

 

I used gimp before and truthfully it wasn't that great even with tutorials and stuff. Since when I made a sig sized it the correct pixels and turned out smaller than it actually was. Then I moved onto a better application "Photoshop" which revolutionized my sigs but if you can not afford it ask one of our art "pros" to make you one or explain to you how that sig was made.

Because they don't realize that if they scroll down a little more, there are some sub sections for these types of things...

its an offtopic question. the question section is for community related questions. not just the first thing that comes to mind.

But if you're looking for a good sig maker, then I'd suggest WackyIraqi. He's an awesome sig maker and used to do all my avatars and sigs.

Basically its a render of some space ship, then you add custom text and a few lines with an outer glow and some other effects if you want to get fancy with it.

Question forum can be used for any questions related to SG (servers, forum stuff, ect.)

 

This would fall under forum stuff imo
