Buying my first wifle

I am gonna buy my first rifle today. I am gonna go away from AR designed weapon systems. I was looking into maybe an AK. Whatcha guys thoughts on this? My limit is $800.

My first rifle was a 22. but then again I was young when I got it, Ak's are pretty good although the real good ones are more then 800 dollars (Ones made outside of the US tend to be better then ones made in the US). Although Im sure there are a few out there you can get for that or under that amount.

should be able to get a nice romanian or egyptian AK for sub 600 bucks. russian ones are the pricey AK's, but almost any of them, regardless of country are very resilient. stamped steel is hard to mess up building tbh.

Lol to me it looked like "Buying my first Waffle" O.o Anywho, the AK's are nice and a whole lot of fun to play around with imo. I'm not too sure where you could get such a cheap one though O.o
