Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. The other day I gave away a Binding of Issac key which was won by our very own Aznsoul (hurray for him!). However, in my opinion, ordinary raffles are boring. All you do is give a number and hope you win.

You are all smarter than that.

So, I decided I would do another, more challenging giveaway. I have in my possession a key for Supreme Commander 2. In order for you to acquire it, you must break my book cipher. The first to post the phrase I have encrypted will win the key. I will be giving hints every day or so for you to try and figure out what the book is.

What, you didn't think I would actually tell you the title, did you? :trollsm:

Here is the encryption:

3(7)7, 3(10)2, 7(16)3; 21(1)1, 27(17)3, 33(38)6; 40(3)4, 41(18)4, 57(2)4; 112(7)1, 121(2)2, 166(25)3, 171(4)3, 179(35)5, 215(27)3; 245(20)4, 249(3)4, 263(2)9, 289(32)4.

It goes by page:word:letter. Each semi-colon dictates the end of a word. The book begins on page 3. If a word starts on one page and carries onto the next page, it counts as a word on each page. If there are any other questions, feel free to post them here and I will clear them up.

Good luck, and to the victor goes the spoils!

WE HAVE A WINNER, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN

hV has cracked the code, which was from the book Pirate Latitudes by Michael Crichton

The message was: YOU ARE THE PUZZLE KING

You get 2 hints for the first day, here they are:

I hope they weren’t looking for naughty things when they found the book.

It would’ve been funny if she farted when he put his face down there.

It is a softcover book, it'll be the most common cover of this particular book.

Today's hints are:

It almost looks like a pot plant near the top of the cover.

The author sure does have a roaring past.

This author has proven to be good in practically every medium.
