I have too short an attention span for single player games.. but I did enjoy the multiplayer.. many a good time at lan parties.. It'll be interesting to see where they go with this one.. I'll end up checking it out for sure.

You should hear it.. It's impossible to describe.

Try playing CS at a lan party with no Internet connection. It just won't happen.. Steam screws it up for at least 50% of the people there. Sure you get portability of your games (as long as you have an internet connection) Like a majority of the posts under this thread it's a Love/Hate kinda thing.

My new truck.. you know .. the one I only rarely get a chance to drive. The fuel efficient Kia Rio that I have to drive to work 5 sometimes 6 days a week.

I heard them all and I'm "old" and always listen to music that is "too loud".

The idea itself sounds really fun.. Only one problem that I see is that we are spread out across multiple continents. I play paintball alot with a local group and even with people in the same state I have a hard time getting a set time that works and getting people to drive 2 hours away.. I just don't know how feasible it is for most of us to come to an event like that.

Just because someone shafted you.. Doesn't mean you should go out and screw over other people. I'm not saying what happened to you was right in any way.. It just doesn't justify stealing from someone else especially someone who had nothing to do with how you or your dad got screwed over in the past.

I agree with *blank* Don't take what's not yours. I've been on the other side of theft and it sucks hard. Turn the card back in.

If they were really after stopping copyright infringement wouldn't they have just used his site as a tool to get to those posting the copyrighted material instead of trying to make an example out of him? The end result if this were to succeed would be a law that would be next to impossible to enforce.
