A lot of players just play on the servers and don't come too much around forums or just read them (like I usually do). I also take my exemple for Vent because I am someone who don't speak english a lot and that don't like to hang around Vent too much because I don't really understand your humor and half of what you're saying. I also agree with a previous comment that was made so that comments and voting on an individual should not be seen by the rest of the community, only by higher ups.

I do not think SA should be voted by members because of the popularity contest it involves. Some people just don't talk much on forums, don't go on vent and therefore would not get a lot of votes. Then it would be easy for a few people that dislike them for personnal reasons, such as disagreements in-game, to shit on their head.

Who gives a fuck about how it was announced to the community? The fact is the site will be sold and I think we have a good partner in Amit. And for people who complain that he is not a "Steam gamer" - Charles is one and he's also Amit's right arm. This "team" looks perfect to me.
