yes the memory is for laptops, but untill u find out what the maximum speed of ram that your laptop can take, we wont be able to find out if it is the best ram for your laptop

ok, the ram you suggested is slower than what your laptop can support.

 

just had a quick look the best you can do with your budget is to replace your current 4gb of ram with 4gb faster ram with low latency timings

if your are getting everything installed bay a professional/ some who knows what they are doing,

 

a new cpu with higher clock speeds and incresed L2 Cache would improve your video performance

Overclocking a laptop at all is not recommended unless you wish to set it on fire.

thx for the help tinkerbell, i really appreciate plus rep for you. One last thing i was wondering if i could get 4Gb ram in one moducle so i could have a total of 8Gb ram because my laptop can support it, and i was wondering if there is even a 4Gb moducle for a laptop just let me know.

yes there is a 4gb module, but they cost $150 each, and it isnt worth getting 2 of them as you will not see the performance increase your want to
