HL2 Gnome Achievement?

I just stumbled across my screenshots of the adventures of me and my gnome in HL2.

Yes. I was that sad.

 

So who else found this achievement hilariously fun yet incredibly painful at times?

I would fire him into the distance when I got mad... Then I had to re-load D:

Worst thing is driving with him... I ended up firing him ahead of me, driving to him, then repeating the process...

 

What about Chompsky in L4D2? He was a bitch too... The tank smacked him right out my hands when I was in the chopper

It's an achievement in L4D 2, you get the same Gnome right in those pictures, and you carry it throughout to whole Dark Circus campaign, and when you reach the Copter, you get the achievement.

I need to do this. I'm gonna replay half life and do the gnome again. Just for shits and gigles. I'll probably record it and do a voice over with him.

I did the gnome, and easily the hardest part was the car. You had to work on jamming him in the middle and take incredibly slow turns. When the helicopter came, just hide him somewhere, deal with it, then go back and get him.
