Hey everyone.

So , like many of you , on my keyboard , near the Esc button , I have the sleep button. Now , I often hit it accidentally instead of Esc.

My question, is there a way of doing this :

I would have to press shit AND the sleep button in order for it to go to sleep.

I wouldn't like to disable the button since at times it can be quite useful.

Thanks for your help,

Stevee

i had a keyboard like that, and i found a way of changing the function of the power button.

for xp

Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced -> Power Buttons.

for vista

click the vista orb-> type "power options" ->change plan for current power etting-> then change the power button to do nothing

same as vista "locate the power options then go to your current power setting then click on change advanced power settings then same as vista
