So deep in the night ...

... did you ever wonder who this G-Man is in the game

with the briefcase shows up and disappears again ...

My theory:

G-Man -> Gordon Freeman

The G-Man could be Gordon Freeman from the future with the

Teleporter has come. And like Gordon Freeman (his own I)

to point out how the world is and what he must do about it. (See

also be seen in Half-Life 1)

That is the G-MAN (Gordon himself) from the future to the Gordon of

gegenwart ... well ... to help on a way to inform &.

This pair of images where G-Man can be seen in HL ² so you better understand

Whom can I mean:

He looks directly at you zublicken:

In Figure 2 ebendfalls this:

http://img98.exs.cx/img98/4273/d1_canals_120011.jpg

Somewhat mysterious.

Here's a comparison when we should look closely, one could

actually say

"Freeman could be indeed the future of the"

Or

the resemblance is only by a lazy designer, simply

the same basic model has taken the clay modeling of the figures ... (?)

Attitude, position, and view a vote:

Skull:

Due to the different incident light can not be identified SO good, but if

you look closely, and the shadow draft summarizes the eye recognizes you,

that the shape of the skull and the bone is nearly identical. quite

particular on extending the bone under the eyebrows and the partie

extending the forehead (high steep forehead)

Temples:

The growth of hair at the temples is also of the same shape and size

also is the transition to

Cheekbones:

almost identical, with the G-Man, however, somewhat sunken, thin

acts. as one knows, however, stretches the skin with the old (at

constant fat content of the body) slightly more, making this

sunken impression arises.

Ear:

size and shape (as can be seen on the inside of the shell) is the same.

Chin and jaw:

Note the running of the jaw and chin shape (you must

at freeman just think away the beard) are equal.

Nose

Size and shape of the nose are almost identical. the G-Man has

slightly more pointed and angular, which is due to the alter. form

the nose holes also veeery similar

at first glance not much similarity, but if you have the

anatomy looks a little closer, and something ahnung in anatomy, has

you can see very quickly that the G-Man an almost identical image

Gordon Freeman is older by only a few years (around 15-20 years)

Let your own opinions to speak. And of course, write your

Theory.

All information are for me & other intressannt.

writes to it as pure as the G-Man thinks

I really hope that isn't going to be the twist, that Gman and Freeman are the same person, as that would be pretty poor imo.

Gman is Freeman's nemesis more than the combine, trapping him and using him as a mercenary, so it would be silly to have them actually the same person.

More intresting is to work out who is hiring Freeman's services in Half-life 1 and 2, as it doesn't seem like its the rebels or combine. It seems in HL2 it could possibly be the Vortigaunts, as they release him for Ep1 and 2, removing him from Gman's control (although this implies that after HL2, whent he contract had ended, that the Vortigants were releasing Freeman to prevent him being hired by someone else, possibly the combine).

And isnt it that G-Man is coming from this Alien World, maybe ur right Jaffa ur theory sounds realistic O_O, since G-Man actually comes from this alien world.

Woah think of they would have the alien world again in HL 2 episode 3, with the low grav and stuff, since that was fun and some change in gameplay :).... that whole going from HL1 to HL2 was a weird thing what happend between them actally ?

It's been years since I played through HL1, however if memory serves me... G-Man on more than one occasion locks doors and sets Gordon up to fail/die. So I can't see why/how he could be Gordan.

In this image there are subtle differences showing that they aren't the same person. For example Gman has a widow's peak and his facial structure is more sunken in than Gordon's.

There have been endless theories as to who the G-man is. Many assume his title is short for 'Government-man', hence his formal appearance and mannerisms (e.g. always straightening his tie). A higher order is clearly present within the Half Life universe, as the G-man possesses the ability to bend and distort time and space. He constantly talks of his employers which means it is likely there are beings with power that surpasses his own.

In many instances during the Half Life series G-man both helps and hinders Gordon. His constant observation of your actions suggests he is testing you. When he supposedly traps Gordon in a room full of acid by closing the door, it is seen that he is pushing Gordon's capabilities. However on the occasions where he saves Gordon, many feel that the G-man does not want to lose such a promising subject just yet.

My feeling is that he is a third party that as has been said is testing Gordon for something greater. I think he has some kind of overarching scheme that will come to light.
