I am actually the opposite of you Ultra. I was actually born mostly deaf and over time I gained my hearing. My parents have shown me video of when I was little and I couldn't hear anything so I would just grunt. I do not actually remember any of it just because I was little and I did develop hearing which I am very happy for.

 

I hope that you can get that treatment that you mentioned earlier. Best of luck to you.
