Basically I am wondering due to my own test servers I am trying to run being a major PITA. They are GNU/Linux, and if I don't: setmaster add 216.207.205.99:27011 setmaster add 216.207.205.98:27011 setmaster add hl2master.steampowered.com setmaster enable 216.207.205.99:27011 setmaster enable 216.207.205.98:27011 setmaster enable hl2master.steampowered.com heartbeat autoexec it, the server won't show on master-server, which really sucks. Do you guys have that in your server's cfg files, or is the problem on my end, or what? Link to comment

Servers can run on either OS providing they are programmed/configured to do so. I don't quite understand your question. What is it that your trying to run or do? As I understand it, it's part of the SRCDS start-up procedure to automatically add your game/server to the Master Server. You have not got this in the start-up command parameters have you? -nomaster Link to comment

Lol, I was asking about Steamgamer's servers I don't quite understand your question. What is it that your trying to run or do? I thought this was true as well, but it's not auto adding mine. You have not got this in the start-up command parameters have you? Nope. I thought it was supposed to auto-add masterservers, but I guess it doesn't. When I don't add these commands, I am not on the masterserver. If I add them, it's on the masterserver. Link to comment

Heh, thought it was obvious as it's in the questions section for SG servers, not offtopic. Doesn't matter anymore! Do you get an error in the SRCDS console when it comes to adding the servers? Nope. It just doesn't add any. I lurked on the hlds_linux mailinglists for a bit tonight, and it looks like a recent update borked it. Link to comment
