FBI != Police. Crackers and hackers get arrested all the time. There are no specific cases about Steam itself that I can see, but it is still illegal, and hence you still can get in legal problems if you do it...

So, ure point was that it was against the law, not that the FBI has ever busted someone for hacking a steam account?

here is how it works. to go after someone in the first place, police have to find out that a law has been broken and who broke it - this costs money and time. then they would have to prosecute which takes even more time and money. do you honestly think any police force would waste resources on a recreational game being hacked?

come back to reality bro.

Yes. They have busted people who have cracked accounts before though. Just none that are news-worthy. Do you think that all arrests are published on news sites?

How are they supposed to fill their monthly quota? Regardless, even if they didn't try to prosecute anyone for it, it's still illegal, and you should feel morally depressed if you do illegal stuff with intentions to make someone else have a bad day.

Stop giving Mr Skiddy attention anyways. Except for fear mongering him.

how to fill their time you ask?? maybe with real crimes? there are a lot of them going on everyday.

also, i absolutely do not believe that the police have busted people on steam for hacking accounts. you say that police have and it's just that no news agency would ever report it... how the fuck did you find out about this happening again? i think you are getting confused with valve taking action against hackers. action which does not involve going to jail btw lol
