Is this creepy or is it just me?

Something similar happened to me once, i was upstairs sleeping when i heard a noise coming from downstairs. i go downstairs to check it out, and the TV is doing the static thing, with the cable box in emergency mode. scared shitless i was going to be attacked like in the ring, i go check it out. turned out that the TV had turned on on its own [probably with my kittys help] at the same time that a major storm was coming through, still set to the loose input of my off XBOX. as soon as im about to turn off the TV, my house gets struck by lightning and the power goes out with a flash and a boom. i sprint upstairs practically crapping myself, only for the TV to turn back on 10 min later when the power comes back, with the same static and glow.
