Its the germans during WW2, because Coca Cola, a US company, would'nt sell coke in germany, so the germans made their own soft drinks. It just stayed after the war.

Close. Its because they put a trading ban on Germany during WW2 so Coca Cola Couldn't send their supplies (ie the syrup) to their german branch, so the head of the german coca cola made a new soft drink out of the ingredients they had there.
