Gmod problems

ok, so when im in the TTT server, everytime i shoot any gun, it shoots twice. But, only one of the shots actually count, and only one bullet is used. This makes it very hard to tell if i actually hit someone, let alone actually hit someone. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how to fix this

Sounds like a lag issue to me... if not, there's probably just some sort of weird glitch. Does this happen all of the time or just sometimes? If sometimes, try reloading garry's mod or rejoining the server.

It's a lag issue, I've had it also. This can happen in very laggy maps with high ping

This happens to me after I am done playing a local sandbox game, and get custom guns loaded.

 

If deleting all custom scripts doesn't fix it, then it's probably due to lag. But I bet it's probably due to some scripts you may have loaded or used.

Press ALT then F4. Fixed my issues. If that doesn't typing net_graph 1 and see if your ms is high. This sounds like lag to me.
