Avatars, Sigs etc

I think its about time we start talking about this.

With the new updates in SG, each rank should get "more space" for a Avatar on their profile, and on the side here.

 

Also that the ranks have set sig limits.

 

Sure it might not be a issue, but People do like having big avatars and sigs.

For me, i been trying to get a big avatar but it never works.

Seems like Don's have bigger ones than SA.

 

Simple lowdown.

 

Ranks should have limits to size and space of avatars and sigs.

Donate to get bigger sig and avatar etc.

How can you abuse it?

Each rank will have a set size.

I don't see how it can be abused.

I know its not a issue, but with the change in SG new guidelines should be made.

I would like to remake the whole A&C forum with remakes of the How-To etc.

Clean it up a bit, you know.

125x125 is perfect avatar size. Anything larger will start to push out the side column of each post larger than it needs to be.

 

As for sig size, I would already say yours are (usually) far too big, which is what I was referring to when I said "abuse". I just meant having them bigger than they should be (imo).

 

I'd be okay with an incremental sig size based on rank, but it would probably be counter productive to what you wanted to accomplish with this thread because the sig sizes would (hopefully) be cut down a lot.

Height maybe like 250 tops?

 

When the height gets huge it makes the forums look ugly (imo). That's why I don't like large sigs/avatars.

It's not abuse if rules are not laid down, also I only make Large sigs when I'm working on new sigs.

Thats basically the issue right there.

The whole Sig/Avatar size is broke.
