What do you guys think about GTA4, should I buy it? If it is good enough to play? Give me your answers.:001_smile:

Well, while its no FF7, i would say yes definately buy it. Its a top 25 game of all-time type of game so u have to buy it.

 

Graphics are great, music is good, gameplay is smooth, its nice and long, and the story is realllly good. Also the voice acting is pretty good.

 

Also, I don't have to tell u that if u have little kids, or younger siblings, u might wanna have them get outta the room while u play.(

 

Bottom line, Yes definately buy it, no questions, in fact its a sin if u dont buy it.

Meh ;O I remember playing GTA1 back in thar olden days when I was 8 and I turned out fine :001_smile:

 

GTA4 isn't perfect to be honest. The single player campaign is possibly the WORST out of GTA3,Vice City,San Andreas and itself.

 

That said however, it has multiplayer and if you actually have friends then this makes the game replayable, you can do like 10 mini games (about 4 of which are worth playing) but never the less it is worth buying just for that. Also you can play with random people so you can make internet friends

gta4 story line sucks ass i should know i just beat the game not even 2 hours ago lol ending sucks! =( i was looking forward too it being good.:closedeyes:

but online its pretty good with real friends not internet friends cause it gets kinda weird lol....but out of all the Gta games i have too say San Andreas & lib city 3 where the best....

 

 

BTW who wants too play as a European immigrant :thumbdown: i say bring back the original guy from Gta 3

Like it matters who the character is reallyyyyy, and the guy from GTA3 didn't even talk!

 

Also meeting up with people with every possible Eastern European name is a bit funny to me, I was guessing who I would meet next.

I liked it to be honest, whilst the single player wasn't quite as good as I had hoped, it was definitely playable and enjoyable. The fact it lasts near on 30 hours shows there's plenty to do.

 

Enjoy the races in the online mode too, it's great in 16 man races into the first corner. There's no skill involved, get the inside line into the corner, smash your way in front. Obviously better players pass you during the race, but there's a brief moment of sensing victory.

Now when I've seen all of your comments, I am thinking of buying it and not buying it. But I've heard by other friends that it is kinda cool and it is better than ''San Andreas''. Thanks for the comments :tongue_smilie:

i think its a bit to generic for me, you do the same things over and over again. You talk to a guy, you kill that guy, you get money. That is basically what most of single player is and multiplayer is limited to driving around and shooting each other, unless u go onto another game mode. They took out tanks and u get less weps. You cant buy your own houses, get fat or pimp your car so you know... i liked vice city better, dunno why... just did
