For several decades we were thought to be in a Supercluster of galaxies known as the Virgo Supercluster. Apparently last year, scientists discovered that the Virgo Supercluster is essentially the 'tip of the iceberg' when it comes to the structure known as Superclusters. The science behind this discovery is pretty neat, if you are interested in space and stuff I suggest checking it out. Link to comment
