P.S: Wanna reduce this? Open up the task manager > Processes Tab > Steam > Right Click Steam > Set Priority > Then set it to low. I found a little of a performance boost, not really noticeable though.

pointless argument

its like sayin norton antivirus takes up 16000Kb to run

then hl2 usually takes around 300Mb-600Mb (depending on settings) to run

but most people nowadays have at least 2Gb, so the memory user is not much of a concern

you must be running with maybe 512Mb to have actually gained something that way
