Just my luck, I seem to be making enemies with everyone today. I am really sorry if I offended you, I am not trying to sound "narrow minded", I am very passionate for music and that tends to be the medium I judge headphones on. I only meant that the quality of sound in terms of clarity with music tends to be rather lackluster with music, like you mentioned. I'm sorry, I'm in a bad mood and not exactly the most emotionally stable person, but that tends to just tends to be a quality you learn from getting to know me.

Alright, in the end I decided to stick with the headphones I got right now. I came into this thinking that a gaming headset would offer something better than what I got now, but everything I'm seeing is that gaming headsets tend to just suck. I already have a pair of Sennheiser HD518s that have been absolutely glorious, and I just ordered a modmic to just put onto it. I also got a siberia USB sound card, might as well give it a shot. Amazon is usually nice about its return policy Thanks all around, guys.

Do you mean that all headsets are a waste of money? Or the ones Panda recommended? :/

I'm actually kinda curious, too. Those don't seem like the greatest headphones to me :/

I know this has probably been asked a hundred times over, but what would be a good headset to get around $100, maybe a bit more? I'm looking at turtle beach right now, but i'm looking for something else because I hear they tend to die pretty quickly.

I use a Steelseries MMO Gaming Mouse and I have no complaints. Anything from Steelseries will do you good. As for keyboards, I'm afraid I can't help you there, I just use the one build into my laptop.
