^ what he said. i have 2 internal drives, and one is exclusively for backup. when i need to reformat, i just move all the important files into my user folder, copy that and my steamapps folder over, make a list of programs i need to install/download, and then you're good to go

if its vista i most certainly do. if you're in vista games or w/e will NEVER see your mic unless you go into sound options and set the mic you're using as the default recording device.

i use a MUCH better way, altho it is based off of a linux live-cd i have a cd that will straight up bruteforce passwords that are 13 characters or less so you can just remember the password, or do w/e you needed to steal some1's user/pass for.

i tried it out on my comp a couple of weeks ago (for free, just not free like that ) i really liked it, a giant leap from vista i must say. the day that comes out retail im getting it.. only reason im not using it right now is my sound drivers didnt work right and were forced into 2.1 mode. the super bar and like aero peek are fuckin amazing.

i've had an 8600gt for a while, want to get a new card, but yes this one is not bad for the price. personally i've been surprised with how well it eats through most anything you can throw at it.

ive been running 3.1 beta since day 1. I personally have never seen firefox run slow or take up alot of memory since 3.0, but 3.1 runs even FASTER. that being said, unless someone copy/pastes all the plugins that are for firefox, im NEVER switching, i depend on FAR too many. but yes, as always im going to agree with good ol' zero here. After 3.1, every browser will be less than a second different in loading pages, so then it really is just up to taste, and i've already stated my taste is in ABP, along with the rest of the 20 addons i use.
