Because I believe that people should stop apologizing and bending over backwards for something that happened generations ago and that the government has tried to make up for with affirmative action for the last few decades? Or because I believe that people should get ahead in life based on merit and hard work and should stop blaming other people for their own shortcomings? There are plenty of minorities that come to this country and within the first couple of generations succeed. This country offers more opportunity to everybody than anywhere else, including blacks. I have a black boss, I'm friends with another coworker who is also an upper level manager black guy. So don't make me out to be some kind of fucking racist. I even have AFRICAN (From ethiopia) coworkers who are 2nd gen and going just fine, their parents came here and busted their asses so their kids could go to school and find decent jobs. I just hate seeing white Americans acting so god damned scared to be themselves because they're afraid of being labeled racist or bigots by other folk like you. Yet other minorities are given a pass and given a leg up in promotions/corporate world because they aren't white/male, yet they still bitch and moan about being held down by "the man".
