Call of Duty 1, 2, and 3, are all WWII era. This is there way of being new, so I suggest you play the others first. Ontopic: I've played it, haven't gotten it yet. Played the demo for it on pc, felt it was sick beyond reason.

I can summarize the concept of it in two words James. Scorched Earth. The game is where your a soldier in London, where basically the apocalypse has happened. Portals have opened in London, where floods of demons and monsters and various other beasties had came through, slaughtering everyone essentially. Pockets of resistance are in mainly the subway stations, and your part of the resistance against the demons. Also I received my Collectors Edition of Hellgate London today.

Agreed with you Litkey. Oak there will be certain situations where using a gun is unavoidable. If you have a mugger/robber/murderer who are aiming at you with a gun, its unavoidable to have to use a gun on them, otherwise theres a high possibility of you being wounded or fatally injured. Albeit there will be occasions where it can be avoided though, though its mostly for the people that are experienced in hand to hand and know how to disarm a person of his weapon, and those are usually police officers/people versed in martial arts.

It worked too, considering at one point of the game you see someone explode in a shower of blood and one of those floaters just burst through the wall at you.

In the expansion they get worse, and while playing the demo it was ten times worse.

Yeah, I made the biggest possible mistake I could today. See, my alternative school is bout 3 miles from my house, which isn't that far imho. I can walk it easily most of the time, and I decided I wanted to walk today. Well, big mistake. Found out that the traffic was backed up for miles, so I had to take an alternate route. Heres how its bad, I have the worst possible sense of direction you can think of. So of course, while finding an alternate route I got lost. To make matters worse, I fell into the sewers. So by then, I was tired and was smelling like shit, and not my own either, until I decided, fuck it. So I crossed the street whenever I had an opportunity, and then crossed through the woods that were near my house and got scratched up by a hell of alot of thorns. Finally got home, but they sprayed me with a hose before I could go through the door.

Agreed on that...I suggest therapists.
