Hey everyone!

I always wondered , which is more popular not better.

PS3 Or Xbox360.

Tv Sorta confused me because,

PS3 had little adverts whilst Xbox360 had loads of adverts.

And I started to wonder, Did Xbox360 have alot of adverts because:

-They were doing poorly and needed more advertising.

-Where doing really well, nd had loads of cash for adverts.

Which one do you think was the case?

Let me just straighten this out, any console wars erupting after this post will result in punishment because it's getting annoying.

 

On SG the Xbox is more popular that I am sure of.

Ya xbox 360 has so much more to offer and i only know 3 people that own ps3s, so xbox pretty much wins because just about everyone has one, plus project natal is gonna RULE

It's simple... if you have a PC gaming rig, then you do NOT need a 360... you can get the majority of 360 exclusives for your PC.. Cheaper AND better versions of those said 360 games.

 

PS3 exclusives are found only on that system, no where else.

 

In fact, in order to try forcing people to get a Xbox 360, MS prevented Gears of War 2, Fable 2, and Halo 3 from going to the PC platform, even tho the previous entries in those series where on the PC.

Well, PS3 has wireless broadband connectivity. I connect to my router for free online play.

And to think, the original poster was only asking about the 360 and PS3...

 

 

And MS didn't decide whether those games would be ported or not, the studios did. When they released Gears of War, Fable, and Halo 2 on the PC, they didn't get enough sales to warrant another port. You also have control and gameplay issues when you port, and sometimes those differences can turn a great game on a console into a mediocre PC game.

The 360 is more popular, at least in the US. If you went to Japan, I'm sure you'd see a shitload more of PS3 ads. Its pretty much taboo to own a 360 in Japan, so MS doesn't really bother too much as compared to in other markets where there is a fair console competition.

the 360 is more popular. some of it is that there are alot of games for it, but i think the massive majority are for 2 reasons

 

1. the 360 is cheaper (especially when you talk about how much the ps3 was when it came out)

 

2. people want to play with their friends, and their friends have 360s (i think this is the biggest reason)

The wii is better then any of those consoles, it's small, it has less violent games so no one will become murderers, it has wifi, and it has Mario games!

If you like playing online get a 360 they have better servers but you still have to pay the $50 a year, or if you dont want to pay you can just get ps3 which dosent have that good of servers. 360 is most likely more popular cause of the ps3s price I guess. But there basically the same systems but have some different game choices
