Team Fortress 2: Graphics problems?

Hey guys.

 

I play lots more TF2 than usual right now.

But my graphichs are just NOT OKAY

 

When I heal as a medic, there comes no beam, when I stand at a dispenser/the payload there comes no beam. The graphics are simply really low.

Is there some settings i can adjust or anything? I have tried to update my driver with no luck.

 

 

My graphics card is ATI X1200.

note im doing this by memory.

 

Save all the maps u downloaded to ur Desktop, and Re-Install TF2.

if that dont work

 

set Texture Quality to High/normal

 

or

 

set Effects Quality to above low.

I'm pretty confident that it is about your configuration file or graphics drivers.

 

Either way, try change some of the settings ingame from your graphics settings and if that doesn't work, see from http://ati.amd.com/ if there is updated drivers for your graphics card.

Good grief, i cant believe that you had to memorize all of that.

 

 

OP, open the console, record a demo, let it run for some seconds, then stop it, should be fixed.

Re-download a graphic card driver.

Same problem here... Drivers is not helping

I would just reinstall the game. You wont lose anything but the maps. Your stats will still be there. It may fix the issue.

Yup. Its a known fix for these kind of small bugs that are in tf2, sometime when you alt+tab out of tf2 and you get back in, the players might be invisible, this fixes it too.

Oh yeah, alt tabbing out and back in of TF2 works about 25% of the time to fix this. Ima try demoing when I get home.
