CS:S Problems

I decided to check out some steamgamer servers on CS:S today. When i clicked on refresh however, it said I could not connect to the master server list or something. Any tips on how to fix this? I checked my filters and I turned them all off and nothing came up.

Um...you turned them off? Then they definitely wouldn't appear, because our servers usually have players on them. The only thing I can think of is that you're not connected to the steam network. That's happened to me a couple times after the UI overhaul.

 

Edit: try just typing in the servers IP (listed in link bar above) and enter that into "New Favorite Server" or whatever, then click "find games at this address" and it should pop up. Click on the correct server. That worked for me.

this happened to me yesterday... the day before yesterday... and basically since the new steam has been up, so ive been playing off my favorites... today it wasn't working, and then it started working on me probably 3 hours ago. so i would just say to hang in there and occasionally refresh it after playing on a favorite or something. not sure if this will help, but it started working after i right clicked the steam button on the toolbar (next to the clock) and added a server that it wasn't allowing me to add through the game.

i made sure all of that as unchecked as well myself, and it still didn't work... well... now it does obviously... but before it wasn't...
