Reg before Mem?

I saw someone who almost had 100 posts, and I know when you hit 100 posts you are considered a Reg. I was just wondering is it possible to become a Reg before you become a Mem?

If you were a SG Noob and had been around for the given time period and achieved 100 posts. When you apply than yes you would be a Reg.

You can't anymore. Some people still have reg before they reached 100 posts, because in the old method of getting regular, an admin would give you, and it wasn't set by amount of posts.

I know you used to be able to. Because I was never an SG mem or an SG reg. I was an SG noob then an SG hon once I hit 400 posts because I saw no point in applying for mem when it doesn't mean a whole lot.

I was a noob than became a reg. It goes off of join date, not member date.

A few wierd things can happen if you get people with odd combinations of postcount, join date, and application date. I leapfrogged almost straight to HG because I'd already been here for 2 years and had near the postcount requirement when I applied.
