Thinking about buying this headset, I've read many reviews good and bad, but I'd like to see what you guys think.

I have the Plantronics 377 I got as a gift.

I also have the Beyerdynamic DTX 900 (which are close to the 377 price tag) and the DTX 900 are light years ahead.

The 777s are the 377s with USB.

Just get some Beyerdynamics, Audio Technica or Sennheiser, forget other "bling" brands.

I have those Plantronics headphones and they're okay, but I bought them from Circuit City when they were closing so got a good deal, that price is okay, but like Andreia says, you can get a much better set by adding some cash

My friend has them, they are quite kamfy and have decent sound.

what do i think? i think usb headsets (even if the soundcard it is using is to create the "surround sound") suck. I also think for that kind of cash (or just slightly more) you could just get a higher quality pair from a better brand.
