trakaill Posted May 26, 2010 Content Count: 3736 Joined: 11/30/07 Status: Offline Share Posted May 26, 2010 (edited) Dont listen to any of these crazies... I5-750!!! is the way to go!!! Ill make a wish list really quick http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=17838508 This is at 680... you have a few choices from here... -Upgrade the Mobo for potential sli/xfire (if you do you'll have to sacrifice on the GPU so I wouldnt) -put 5830 of 5750 (id go witht the 58 series I think) your call correct me if im wrong but it is better to have one better performing GPU than 2 mediocre one... -lastly possibly upgrade the PSU to the modular 620 which isnt on newegg but the one I posted has a nice promo currently..its not modular but I use it and the cables are so long it makes cable managment in my storm scout easy.. lastly you could potentially upgrade the case but in your price range the 300 is decent..I think antec came out with a new lower priced case but Im to lazy to find out right now... GL One more thing.. if your willing to sacrifice on GPU you could possibly get a Solid state hard drive which is really where the speed comes from but with your budget it'll be hard!! Also if I were you id pass on the cooler i included because if you dont OC its not really necessary and but that money towards something else! 2 Edited May 26, 2010 by trakaill Link to comment
