basically, your stupid ass "proved" what we've known for centuries. any number multiplied by 0, is in fact 0.

 

also, if you go to a REAL school, a D IS failing. yeah, you get "credit", but a D is a 69 or less, and you pretty much have to take the class again.

If a=b, a-b therefore =0.

Now, divide both members by (a-b).

Means you are dividing by 0. You cannot divide by 0 in math.

i already made a mention of it all manipulating zero. i was proving it was incorrect beyond the division, because it still is. yes, you can divide both sides by a, but there's no point. if 2a =1a, then just subtract the a from the RHS.

(a+b)(a-b) = a(a-b)

 

Now, divide both members by (a-b).

 

a+b = a

 

a+a = a

 

2a = a
