Hey guys, so I made a video for an end-of-year project in my school. The topic is homelessness in my city, and what can be done to improve it.

Great video but one question....

Why Ottawa?

you're using random homeless google pictures that i've seen on 4chan

 

the music is dumb

 

the text movement as half a word is spel

spelled on one line then shifts to the next drives me nuts

 

when it became a backround of a paper, and then a bunch of bullets, then D's and clear

what the hell was that?

if you're going to write those out, have them listed together.

 

how do you get a D for length of stay in a homeless shelter?

 

the font kills my eyes.

 

written letters from kids to politicians are rarely read.

 

joining a facebook group doesnt help the homeless.

 

 

change font and color

change music

use pictures from your city if possible

give actual advice and facts and numbers

don't say "how, do you ask?" you're putting this info in their heads, they don't want to ask questions.

together we can - you said this way too many times.

don't name yourself artimus in the credits unless your real life name is artumus

rather than say ohh boy they gave a D for housing

 

say 88 affordable units in 2009, with 10,235 on the Social Housing Waiting List

Shelter stay on average is 57 days of length, family average was 64 days of length.

Why did "Housing" take like.. eight years to write out? Make it the same as the others.

during the paper scenes, make it so the text fits on the paper, and doesn't slide to the blackness

 

Text:

Better, more calming colour. The red gets hard to read some of the pictures

change up the way the text comes in. the c-o-n-s-t-a-n-t t-y-p-i-n-g of the letters get's rather annoying.

 

There's more, but i'm lazy. It should be fine, though.
