Bilbo Baggins Posted August 9, 2010 Content Count: 326 Joined: 08/29/09 Status: Offline Share Posted August 9, 2010 Well. If you want to get seven years of life out of a laptop and be able to play games on it that entire time you'd need to buy the most high end laptop you can find. But for basic internet surfing, work and mild photoshop that laptop should be fine for the amount of time you plan on having it. The only thing that you should be aware of is that with laptops the graphics card is in there for the life of the laptop so for gaming you'll prolly be able to play css fine for now, but should there be another source engine update that could change and there really won't be anything you can do about it. Anyhoo, that laptop seems to be nice enough, but you must know that laptops really don't perform as well as desktops and a few years from now even the cheaper desktops will run circles around your laptop.
