If you are thinking about spending that much for a piece of shit, don't even bother.

I bought all my shit from ncix and built it myself. They have pre-built ones that are better than your alienware ones by a mile.

^Sli- MSI GTS 450's. I'm biased because I love my MSI GTX 460

You didn't even fucking read my post. Anyways, yeah its a good build if you wanna pay for over priced shit.

You haven't done much research have you? Seems like you just wanna throw money away.

I agree completely with Zealot.... it seams like you have done no research and you just want to throw money away for parts that are popular. Zealots first link to a build is great and its not almost 2000 dollars. the only thing that i would think to change is the power supply, and 2 more gigs of ram.

Last year i built a computer for only 875 dollars and I can still run all games on high.

I was rushing this morning sorry, but i did look at the 1st link you gave.

Seems like a great build at a good price.

I have done my homework for finding a new pc, but i have never built a pc like this.

If you can build legos and watch 10 minutes max of youtube DIY videos you can build a PC yourself.

Yes, it's a badass build, but I could assemble it using newegg for $400-600 less, period.

I don't know why people are so afraid of working with computer hardware, you have the RMA option if your parts are broken, it's not like you get screwed, and if you have issues there are plenty of people here with experience that can help.

Buy parts from newegg. It will cost less than your alienware.

Do I need to break out the mod hammer?

Having your PC built for you online is obviously more expensive, but it is A) not alienware, B) he asked a question and you decided to mock him. Digitalstorm is decent as far as asking for money for labor goes.

Full, I think what Pot is trying to say, like the rest of us, is that you dont have to spend a shit ton of money for a computer. you can get a computer that out-performs the alienware computers for 2/3 erds the price. and if you get it cheaper and save money you will have some when a better part comes out and not be stuck with what you have.

Yes, but the argument here is if whether or not the cost of labor to have it prebuilt is worth it versus building yourself.

I figure its worth it and that FM could figure it out, but it's his call.
