Fuck you. This is why PC gaming is dying, because of asshole pirates.

afamad modern warfare 2 was pirated ~6million times yet it still brought in several million dollars (id like to post a closer number than several million but dont feel like searching for it right now, if you have it please do tell)

"GAAP net revenue for the fourth quarter was $979 million, up $119 million as compared with $860 million in the prior year. During the quarter, EA had a net benefit of $129 million related to the recognition of deferred net revenue for certain online-enabled packaged goods games and digital content.

Non-GAAP net revenue was $850 million, up $241 million as compared with $609 million for the prior year. Sales were driven by Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2, Mass Effect™ 2, Dante’s Inferno™ and digital businesses."

Yeah EA is really taking it up the ass in sales because of pirates... oh wait.

Okay, so how come most people have to pay for the game, but the pirates don't. And don't say, "Oh, well everyone else can pirate it too." because if everyone pirated the damn game, there wouldn't be a profit.

How is it fair that you get Crysis 2 for free, and I don't?

Also, if you've ever pirated anything in your life you really can't use the scale argument against those who pirate video games.

If you've pirated music, tv shows, movies or anything you don't have the moral high ground when it comes to arguing about video game piracy. Unless you're telling me all the music you have is purchased via cd (irl) or iTunes (digitally), the TV you watch is only on your television set or via DVD/Blu-Ray disc and the same for your movies, you really can't argue against video game piracy.

Fucking moral relativism, how does it work?
