People with tons of symbols in their names are dum. I hate that. I could understand if they are using a different language, but just using different charsets that look similar to roman letters to look pro?

I used to have a nickname with a lot of special characters in it when I played Seafight. The interest of having an unreadable name was to make the enemy unable to coordinate attacks on you.

 

It can be practical when you play TTT aswell, people would be like: it's that guy, the one "with a weird unreadable name" (quoted is what he said after he died).

In my experience the only people who put special characters in their gamer tag are little kids.
