Hey I'm looking for a laptop for my sister. Budget £350. She wants it for school work, watching movies, Internet browsing and playing games such as Sims 3, Spore, Runescape, Minecraft etc.

Don't mind if its Windows 7 or 8. Doesn't need to have Office.

So far I've found these two but not sure which is best or if there are better.

I would take the hp over that acer any day.

I would say get a asus (no not the eee)

Or a Sony.

If it those two get the hp as its 6 gig and it has a gpu other than that intergrated one from acer

Typed on phone so bare with me

id definitely stay away from dell, because... well its dell.

hp's arent bad, but id personally go with an asus or toshiba.

and get something with an intel cpu, simply because they can run hotter.

also, look for refurbished ones

its a good way to save some cash and you still get a brand new compy.
