Gawd, that is one of my greatest fears; crushing of limbs. However, when I was once in a similar predicament, I always broke out laughing at the extent I went to in order to complete actions normally completed by my right hand. I would look in a mirror and see the frustrated look on my face and just burst out laughing. I really hope your hand decides to mend itself well and that you too may find the same comedic value in your own incompetence with your non-dominant hand.
