We could either get a community vote, like admin apps, or just admins vote. And once we give them the money they would have to send in receipts and such to be sure that the money went where we wanted it to go. idk its just an idea and I don't have every little detail planned out, but after Lagging Dildo's troubles I feel like we could do some more to not just him but others in need as well. We do giveaways to give back to the community, and as far as helping those in need, the subject is too easily abused. People can and will lie to get free money if they think it will work. Unfortunately we can't just trust them to tell the truth even if they are members of our community. Everyone in the community is of course encouraged to help each other out in whatever way they see fit to do so, if people don't mind sending a couple dollars to help out a fell SG member in need, it's welcomed and we love that our community is willing to do that for each other. It's just the SG's donation/subscriber funds won't be used to do something like that when we can't trust where the money is going. 6 Link to comment

Pretty much this. I feel like if members of the community want to donate to a certain individual they should, but I think that some people would be upset if their money that they donated to support the community and the servers, ended up going to someone they didn't know. Cases like Lagging's aren't ones that pop up very often, and his is actually the first time I've seen someone make a thread like that (it may have happened before but I haven't seen one).
