If not, what's a great movie you've seen recently in theatres?

I just saw La La Land and it was a really fun and lighthearted film. It got a lot of nominations and it ended up sweeping the Golden Globes in record-breaking fashion. A lot of people think it will be a shoe-in at the Oscars for Best Picture. Not too sure personally. I think Emma Stone really deserves the best supporting actress for that one. The rest I've not really decided yet tbh. There were too many good movies this year.

I despise musicals to the very core, but the only reason I saw La La Land was for my girlfriend because she loves musicals.

 

If you haven't seen the movie, I can sum it up right now.
