If you ever watched War of the Worlds (2005 version) as a child of 4-7 years old, you'd be traumatized. Even today I think the sound the tripod makes is one of the scariest sounds you'll ever hear. I got over it but it still gives you the chills. Still my favorite movie of all time, idc.

When I was younger I use to contemplate what happens after death, and I would eventually reach a point where I just lock up and then run into my parents room to assure myself that life does not reach just an empty, endless pit of blackness. I basically feared the concept of death, which I now kind of just shrug off.
